The PARROT Distilling co

Living in Orange you often don’t the tourist thing in your own town, seeing what new and interesting. Potentially stuck in a bit of a rut. Enter, good friends who just arrange things and say “We’ve organised to go to…”. It takes the inertia out of decision making.

So it was with our first visit to Parrot Distilling Co. All we had to do was turn up.

In actual fact we started at theirs, on a recent sunny spring afternoon in Orange… for a couple of preparatory beverages [not a prerequisite… but a damn fine idea!]. Then headed down to the Parrot Distilling Co to try out one of Orange’s newest arrivals on the ‘tasting’ scene. And a very worthwhile arrival it is to!

We left an hour later with a new found appreciation of the finesse of gin distilling and the range of flavours they have [and are continually adding to] along with a couple of bottles of their finest, for later.

So if you’re visiting Orange - or you’re a local finding it difficult to prise yourself out of a little rut - head on down to Endsleigh Ave and surprise yourself at the Parrot Distilling Co… you won’t regret it.
