Raku Izakaya

Raku izakaya

The true mark of a restaurant is having to book. If it’s that popular they are doing something right.

The true mark of a great restaurant… is having to book any night of the week!

So after driving down Summer Street innumerable times, saying “We should go there one night and try it…”, we decided to do just that. We booked early to get to the theatre - so luckily we had a reason to leave, or we would have just welded ourselves to the table, refused to let anyone else take the table… and kept eating!

The food is simply superb!

The entrees were absolutely delicious [try the Tempura Prawns and the KFC - Korean Fried Chicken] and the mains raised the bar even higher [Wagyu Beef and Salmon].

Raku Izakaya was established in 2018 and is Orange’s first and only modernised Japanese Restaurant. A busy buzzing ambience, their dishes are based on Japanese cooking techniques, ingredients and sauces with a modernised flare - utilising local Australian ingredients.

Do yourself a massive favour and make sure you head to Raku Izakaya… but make sure you ruing ahead and book.
