Prue and Andrew Swain have built what Orange has sorely needed for a very long time - a high tech co-working space.

In the three years we’ve lived and worked in Orange, we constantly complained of the lack of good, modern hi-tech workspace… now it’s arrived!

Hive was born out of their desire and belief that there was a need for a community of like-minded individuals in Orange, ready to grow, learn and collaborate with one another, in a purpose designed, state of the art facility - the sort you would expect to find in Surry Hills, Alexandria or Richmond.

Their vision is to connect Orange’s most creative, innovative and dynamic businesses under one roof, providing opportunities for referrals, social interaction, collaboration and general cross pollination!
Hive offers highly functional spaces – from permanent private offices… to shared offices, meeting rooms and co-work space.

In the early to mid 20th century, it was quite common for families to relocate to the beach or the country for holiday and for the breadwinner to make a longer commute or travel to meet the family on weekends. Many of what are now beachside suburbs of major cities, started life as summer retreats.
